correcty, buckbeak never dies because the harry potter universe only has one timeline, although he is technically “saved” using the timeturner because if it wasn’t used then he would be agoners. However considering Harry’s parents dying was what killed/stopped/whatever that nasty man voldemort I doubt anyone was jumping at the chance to go back in time and reverse that (and even if they did go back in time what would they do to stop him? most powerful wizard in the world or something isn’t he?) so this picture is right and wrong and right
